Job summary

Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a qualified clinician to independently evaluate and determine treatment strategies for acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

The role focuses on developing and delivering services across inpatient rehab settings, with responsibilities that include assessment and delegation as needed to support patient progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities are required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet strict timeframes and maintain accuracy.

Position Summary:

Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
