Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Qualifications include MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and current state licensure. New grads are welcome to apply and a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP).
• ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to earn CCCs and maintain credentialing.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with active license.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain patient rights, safety and sanitation.
