Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living in West Houston, Texas, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support residents with speech, swallowing, cognition, and voice therapy across the continuum of care. The role involves screenings, evaluations, treatments, and training in a collaborative, on-site setting.

With compensation up to $55.00 per hour, candidates should have a minimum of 1 year in working with the older adult population, CPR certification, and an appropriate state license where

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience with older adult populations in therapy contexts.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current valid state license (for state where the community provides service) in occupational therapy assistant, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings across the community continuum of care.
• Follow Federal, State, and payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies and procedures; ensure compliance in care provision, documentation, billing, resident rights, customer service, and compliance.
• Provide a holistic approach supporting residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Implement residents’ care plans focusing on strengths, preferences, and routines to provide comfort and belonging.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs throughout care.
