Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver direct speech therapy to patients under physician referral. The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, documentation, and adherence to Life Care standards.

Required include MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, active state licensure, and CPR. ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility is required for credentialing; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligible for CFY to earn CCCs and ASHA credentialing criteria.
• Currently registered or licensed in the applicable state and maintain active status.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation and to remain current.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide direct rehab care in speech therapy per physician referral.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to support patient goals.
• Plan, implement, and modify therapy plans and documentation in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional relationships with patients and staff.
