Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology required.
• State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No experience required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret referrals and evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement written plans of care and monitor outcomes.
• Coordinate discharge planning and family teaching.
• Document all care and maintain billing and scheduling records.
• Ensure safety and infection control in clinical environment.
• Possibly supervise staff and assist with student clinical education.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and manage caseload.
