Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders. You will develop and implement care plans, monitor progress, and communicate with physicians and the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited school.
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Interprets referrals and conducts speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Establishes and implements written plans of care with goals and methods.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts treatment plans; informs physicians and teammates.
• Plans for discharge and provides home programs and family teaching.
• Documents per policy; manages daily statistics, billing, and scheduling.
• Maintains safety and infection control; supports patient safety initiatives.
• Supervises non‑licensed staff as requested; mentors students and trainees.
