Job summary

Capital Health Care Network seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to implement standards of care for speech-language pathology and ensure adherence to the Service Agreement.

The role includes evaluations, care planning, therapy administration, device recommendations, and collaboration with physicians to provide coordinated, comprehensive care. Training patients and families completes the orbit of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with internship in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification per ASHA standards.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and identify home equipment needs related to speech-language function.
• Develop and implement a care plan to improve patient function.
• Administer therapy using specialized techniques and equipment.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document notes per agency policy and maintain competency.
• Educate patient and family on treatment regimes; supervise home health aide as needed.
