Job summary

A master's or doctoral degree, California licensure, CPR, and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP).
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the State of California.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical SLP experience.
• CPR certification.
• Valid California driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Successfully completed national examination in SLP.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluations and plans care for speech-language pathology patients.
• Administers speech-language therapy using techniques/equipment.
• Recommends communication devices as indicated.
• Communicates with physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Maintains notes and reports per organization policy.
• May supervise home health aide as applicable.
• Performs other duties to support services.
