Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The ideal candidate holds an MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology with ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, maintains an active state license, and is CPR certified. New grads are welcome to apply; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology and be ASHA CCCs or CFY eligible.
• Must hold an active SLP license in the state and maintain it.
• CPR certification required upon hire and kept current.
• New grads welcome; one year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide speech therapy treatment per physician referral.
• Document progress and maintain charts; use therapy software.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Follow Life Care policies, quality and safety standards.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics and professional conduct.
• Contribute to community health initiatives as appropriate.
