Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Rowlett, TX seeks a licensed SLPA to join our pediatrics-focused team. You will provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facility, under supervision.

Applicants should have current Texas SLPA licensure and 6 months of full-time clinical experience; bilingual is a plus. Join a clinic that emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth.

• Active Texas SLPA license.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
