Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed SLPA to deliver pediatric speech-language pathology services in patients’ homes and daytime facilities across Texas. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create individualized care plans and help children reach their communication goals.

Qualifications

• Texas SLPA licensure is required.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience preferred.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides services in the patients' home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP following Texas guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional involvement.
• Seeks opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
