Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to provide skilled therapy to pediatric patients in home health or daytime facility settings. The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and regular supervision with a licensed SLP to ensure patient-centered goals are met.

The ideal candidate holds current Texas SLPA licensure, has at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience, and is bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides services in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Stays updated on knowledge through education and professional activities.
• Maintains ownership to add value to job accomplishments.
