Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• WA state license or eligibility to obtain one.
• WA Educational Staff Associate certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• CCC- eligibility or Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
• Fingerprint clearance with OSPI or willingness to complete.
• Two supervisory references required.
• Experience with preschool students or school-based services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Prepare evaluation and progress reports and maintain documentation.

Job Highlights

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic assessments
• Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy
• Complete preschool child-development diagnostics, primarily related to articulation
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Create measurable goals based on students’ individual communication needs
• Provide developmentally appropriate services to preschool-aged students
• Support students with articulation, speech, language, social communication, fluency, voice, and augmentative communication needs
• Track student progress and maintain accurate service documentation
• Prepare evaluation reports, progress reports, and other required records
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team planning
• Collaborate with the other assigned SLP, teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
• Provide communication strategies and consultation to classroom staff and families
• Ensure services comply with state, federal, and district requirements

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Valid Washington Educational Staff Associate certificate or eligibility to obtain one
• Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
• Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete
• Must provide at least two supervisory references
• Experience with preschool students, articulation evaluations, or school-based services preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, organization, and collaboration skills
