Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This in-person, W-2 role supports students in public schools, collaborating with supervising SLPs to deliver services and help implement IEPs.

Candidates must hold a Washington DOH SLPA license or be willing to obtain it, complete fingerprinting, and have 100 clinical hours. A SLPA program or related bachelor’s is required.

• Completion of 100 clinical hours.
• Completion of an SLPA program or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

About the Role

Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-founded, woman-owned company seeking full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an in-person, school-based position supporting students in public school districts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students
• Support implementation of IEPs and complete documentation
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs and the school special education team
• Deliver services in compliance with district and state guidelines

Requirements

• Active Washington State DOH SLPA license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
• Completion of 100 clinical hours
• Completion of an SLPA program or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Must complete fingerprinting/background check prior to start
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
