Job summary

Mariner Healthcare in Palm Springs, CA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to screen residents, develop and implement plans of care, and deliver direct treatment within established guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, CA licensure, and Clinical Competency certification; one year of clinical experience is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, referral bonuses, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
