Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment and treatment within our supportive care community in California. The role includes evaluating residents, developing plans of care, and delivering direct therapy.

A Master of Science in SLP and California license are required; CCC certification preferred, and a sign-on bonus is available. The position offers a competitive salary range ($104,000–$135,200 annual) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Education
