Job summary

Monterey Palms Healthcare Center in California is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The role includes screening, evaluating residents, and developing plans of care in accordance with federal guidelines.

You will provide direct resident treatment, administer and interpret speech tests, support swallowing techniques, and document in compliance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, referral bonuses and relocation

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• California license to practice required.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
