Job summary

Santa Monica Healthcare Center is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Monica, CA. The role involves screening residents, developing and implementing an individual care plan, and providing direct treatment in accordance with established guidelines.

Requirements include a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, California license to practice, and certification in clinical competency. One year of clinical experience is preferred; a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
