Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, plan, and treat residents within established clinical guidelines. The role requires a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, a California license, and is designed for both full- and part-time engagement in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Salary ranges from $104,000 to $135,200 with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, referrals, and

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
