Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Salary Range: $39-45 per hour, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders. Your role will involve working closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
  • Provide direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to improve communication and swallowing skills
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Educate and train family members and caregivers on strategies to support and enhance patient communication and swallowing abilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient services and progress
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities
  • Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
