Job summary

Assist the Special Education Teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans for students with various disabilities and help students in general education curriculum on a continuum of services.

Work under the supervision of a Principal, following lesson plans, maintaining confidentiality and participating in district professional development. This role is 0.875 FTE with a 195-day work calendar and is based in the Dysart Unified School District.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or 60 college credits or Dysart-approved exam.
• First Aid/CPR certification required (in-person).
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education Teacher with implementing IEPs.
• Support students with disabilities in general education settings.
• Follow a lesson plan or guide provided by the teacher.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA guidelines.
