Applitrack is seeking a SPED Paraprofessional to support students with special education needs at McLendon Elementary School in DeKalb County. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; pass GACE Paraprofessional Assessment.
• Associate degree or higher from a Georgia-approved college or university is preferred.
• 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a 2.0+ GPA from a Georgia-approved college.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical, health-related, and personal care needs per IEP and district policy.
• Provide small group or one-on-one instruction aligned with lesson plans.
• Support classroom management and behavior to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Assist with assessment and recordkeeping of student performance.
• Prepare instructional materials and ensure availability prior to instruction.
