Qualifications

• May provide attendant services such as diapering, toileting and hygiene.
• Supports instruction in functional life skills and behavior plans.
• Must be able to move students weighing 50-80 pounds.
• May assist with medication when trained.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with intellectual, physical, or behavioral disabilities in boarding and de-boarding buses before and after school.
• Accompany students into general education classrooms and provide attendant services as needed.
• Prepare instructional materials and record student progress toward goals and developing instructional graphs and charts.
• Follow behavior plans and use positive behavior management techniques in class and on the playground.
