Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its recognized equivalent.
• 48 semester hours of credit or an associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• ParaPathways reading/writing and math score requirements or ParaPro Assessment scores.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff in providing individual and group instruction and maintain records.
• Develop and maintain instructional materials and lesson outlines.
• Assist in planning, administering, and grading examinations and homework.
• Observe student progress and report to the classroom teacher and parents.
• Prepare classrooms and audio-visual equipment for use; assist with materials and supplies.
