Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Agilent Spectroscopy systems. You will work across diverse lab environments, applying technical depth and a customer-first approach to ensure reliable operation.

The role includes extensive travel (up to 75%), remote work options, and a company car or mileage reimbursement. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to succeed in this field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in a scientific discipline.
• 1–2+ years of spectroscopy instrumentation experience preferred.
• Experience supporting Agilent Spectroscopy systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize hardware, software, and networked systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance and availability issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and optimizations.
• Identify potential equipment issues to prevent downtime.
• Advise customers on maintenance schedules and configuration best practices.
• Deliver integrated hardware/software solutions including peripherals and OS.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and service quality.
• Train customers and other field engineers on Agilent Spectroscopy solutions.
