Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers on-site with installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems. You will install and optimize hardware, software and network configurations, diagnose issues and ensure high customer satisfaction across diverse environments.

The role involves proactive problem solving, collaboration with Support/Sales/Marketing/R&D, and occasional training sessions for customers or field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or science field.
• Fresh graduates or up to 1–2 years of experience welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive and positive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• Candidates based in Perth preferred; Victoria may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support customers through on-site activities including installation, implementation, maintenance and repair.
• Install and optimize hardware, software and network products at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Perform maintenance and repair services.
• Advise on preventive maintenance and configurations to improve product performance.
• Proactively respond to potential issues to prevent outages.
• Deliver integrated solutions including peripherals, OS and applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions to customers.
• May deliver internal training and seminars for field engineers or customers.
• May calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers.
• May qualify leads.
• Meet credentialing requirements to gain access to customer sites.
