Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline with focus on molecular spectroscopy (UV-Vis, UV-Vis-NIR, FTIR or Raman) or related analytical techniques
• Recent graduates welcome; laboratory internship or project experience in molecular spectroscopy is beneficial
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to provide on-site customer support as required
• Experience in a laboratory environment or with Agilent products is advantageous
• Strong proficiency in German and English; knowledge of French is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site customer support for installation, maintenance, and repair of molecular spectroscopy systems and multi-vendor solutions
• Install, configure, and optimize system components and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime
• Advise on system configurations, maintenance practices, and performance optimization
• Deliver integrated solutions including peripherals, operating systems, and application software
• Coordinate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to resolve customer issues
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to field engineers and customers
• Maintain compliance with credentialing requirements to access customer sites
