Job summary

American Vision Partners (AVP) is seeking a Specialty Team Manager to oversee the Cataract Centers of Excellence (CCOE) and Anterior Segment teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations across east and west locations.

You will lead, coach, and develop staff, collaborate with surgeons, and drive performance and compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years healthcare management experience.
• Ophthalmology experience required; minimum 2 years preferred.
• Excellent communication skills orally and in writing.
• Strong human resource development and management skills.
• Ability to delegate and supervise successfully.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Computer and technology literate.
• Dedicated to high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee labor management for Anterior Segment specialty team.
• Manage daily operations of Cataract Center of Excellence locations.
• Review monthly management information reports.
• Develop strong working relationships with surgeons and providers.
• Hire, coach, and mentor specialty team members and align goals with company strategy.
• Monitor clinic operations, schedules, and staffing; ensure regulatory compliance.
