Job summary

AVP•SEES Group is seeking a Clinically excellent cataract and anterior segment surgeon to join a referral-driven ophthalmology practice. The role emphasizes high-quality outcomes, sound surgical judgment, and collaboration with optometrists and colleagues.

Fellowship in cornea, glaucoma, or anterior segment is preferred but not required; clinical maturity and professionalism are essential for surgical and medical decision-making.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in ophthalmology with completion of an accredited residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology.
• Active license to practice in Tennessee or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume cataract and anterior segment surgeries including MIGS.
• Manage patients with glaucoma and ocular surface disease as part of comprehensive care.
• Collaborate with optometrists and referring physicians to ensure quality outcomes.
• Contribute to clinical quality initiatives and patient-centered care.
