Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year healthcare financial services experience and/or insurance related experience required.
• 1 year experience with electronic medical record systems (EMR).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across labs, procedures, visits and radiology.
• Handle insurance pre-certifications/authorizations and appeals where needed.
• Assist with financial counseling and charity care programs as applicable.
• Serve as liaison between patients and insurance companies to resolve coverage issues.
