Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative in the United States. You will serve as the primary contact for medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products, navigating complex payer environments, and executing the marketing strategy under the District Manager.

The role emphasizes relationship-building and hands-on engagement with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
• 4 years of sales experience OR 6 years of healthcare/clinical experience with an associate's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years sales/clinical experience for Senior role OR 6 years with an associate degree.
• Industry knowledge in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead branded sales messages and conduct planned programs to achieve sales targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, manage access and address reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn/grow in the role.
• Demonstrate passion for our products throughout the sales cycle while upholding Amgen values.
