Job summary

Amgen, a leading biotechnology company, seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, convey clinical benefits, and promote Amgen products under the guidance of the District Manager. You will lead branded programs and build productive relationships across a diverse payer landscape.

The role focuses on delivering clinical knowledge, driving sales targets, and contributing to strategic planning and market access efforts in a dynamic team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages through in-person and virtual engagement to achieve territory targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, ensure product access, and manage reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Demonstrate passion for products and uphold Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
