Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical care across specialty and inpatient pharmacies under pharmacist supervision. You will assist in medication delivery, quality control, and customer service, ensuring accurate distribution and take-home medications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, eligibility for Ohio CPT registration, and certification via PTCB or ExCPT, with travel to external satellite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 18 years of age or older, no felony convictions per Ohio law.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• Current Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration or plan to register within 90 days of hire; or registered CPT with Ohio Board.
• Must be willing to travel to external satellite locations with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering pharmaceutical care in specialty pharmacies and inpatient pharmacy under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Support quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Provide medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Uphold MetroHealth System mission, vision and customer service standards.
