Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to contribute to inpatient and specialty pharmacy support, including pediatric, critical care, and oncology services. Under a Pharmacist’s supervision, you will assist with medication delivery, quality checks, and take-home prescriptions.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma, be 18+, and hold PTCB or ExCPT certification (or obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years or older with no felony convictions per Ohio law.
• Current/active PTCB or ExCPT certification or certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current Ohio State Board of Pharmacy registration or eligibility for registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing and medication distribution.
• Support sterile IV preparation and unit-dose packaging as applicable.
• Deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home meds.
• Maintain quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
