Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in delivering pharmaceutical care across specialty and inpatient settings. You will help with medication distribution, take-home medication services, and ensure quality control in drug distribution technologies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and meet Ohio registration requirements or certification within 90 days. Travel to satellite locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years old with no felony convictions.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required within 90 days of hire or eligible.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Ohio or eligible to obtain registration within 90 days.
• Willing to travel to external satellite locations with reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, deliver pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Assist with medication delivery to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Support quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Uphold the MetroHealth System mission, values, and customer service standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate dispensing and medication-related services.
