Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Must be certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) within 90 days.
• Must be registered or willing to register with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy within 90 days; willing to travel to satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Assists Pharmacists in quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds the MetroHealth System mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
