Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison in Ohio to standardize and optimize specialty pharmacy services. You will assist in patient enrollment, review medication lists with patients, and triage calls to pharmacists while helping patients access medications at the lowest possible cost.

The role involves processing prescriptions, assisting with third-party billing, and providing financial advocacy.

Qualifications

• Applicable state board-certified Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• 1 year of experience in provider clinic, specialty and/or retail pharmacy (required)
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Process prescription information in the computer system and assist with billing of third-party payer plans.
• Assist customers with prescriptions and products and complete specialty pharmacy orders.
• Prepare prescriptions and maintain accurate patient charts and insurance details.
• Assist with obtaining prior authorizations and appeal denials with the specialty team.
• Coordinate medication delivery and ensure timely, compliant dispensing.
