CommonSpirit Health Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to provide intensive patient care management for complex therapies, coordinating with providers, patients, pharmacy, and billing to ensure timely delivery and affordability.

The role emphasizes collaboration across diverse stakeholders, optimizing adherence, payer processes, and ensuring a full continuum of patient care while supporting accreditation and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; four to five years as a pharmacy technician.
• Combination of education and related experience may be considered.
• PHARMTECH:XX; CPTEXCPT; CPTPTCB; CPHT licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as an insurance specialist by expediting the prescription filling process; obtain benefit information and verify insurance eligibility.
• Initiate and assist with the Prior Authorization and Patient Prescription Financial Assistance processes.
• Exemplifies excellent customer service during interactions with patients, employees, providers, and others to build the Specialty Pharmacy program.
• Work with providers and clinic staff to ensure patients receive medications at the right time.
• Communicate with patients via in-person or phone to ensure adherence and follow-up.
