Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of medical or pharmacy related experience.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 18 months of hire.
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate specialty medication orders prior to enrollment in the specialty pharmacy program.
• Process patient medication orders and complete prior authorizations.
• Utilize manufacturer copay cards and conduct patient outreach.
• Review take-home medications for appropriateness and medical necessity.
• Support revenue capture for high-cost medications through prior authorization services.
