Job summary

phsorg is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Technician to support Specialty Care Pharmacy patients on high-cost therapies. You will coordinate medication access, financial assistance, and payer communications while working closely with pharmacists, providers, and care teams to ensure continuity of care.

Under supervision of licensed pharmacists, you will perform advanced tasks, manage prior authorizations, and assist with patient documentation and enrollment to support therapy initiation and adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus short-term training in pharmacy practices and terminology.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required.
• Active New Mexico Board of Pharmacy license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive benefit investigations, insurance eligibility verification, and coverage determinations for specialty medications.
• Coordinate prior authorizations, appeals, and payer communications to facilitate medication access.
• Assist with patient outreach, financial resources, and coordination of care with pharmacists and care teams.
