Job summary

Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Care Coordinator to support medication access and adherence across service lines. You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and the care team to ensure timely medication delivery and patient support.

The role requires CPhT certification and PA registration, HS diploma or GED, and 1+ year of pharmacy tech experience in a retail/outpatient or payor setting.

Qualifications

• CPhT certification and PA state registration required.
• HS Diploma/GED required; 1+ year pharmacy technician experience.
• 2+ years pharmacy tech experience in retail/outpatient/payor environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and document with supervisors, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and others.
• Collaborate to gather paperwork, prescriptions, billing info, and prescriptions.
• Coordinate medication access and delivery for outpatient use.
• Develop understanding of medication names and drug therapies for assigned service lines.
• Provide follow-up regarding pharmaceutical needs and eligibility information to ensure ongoing access.
• Execute all Pharmacy Technician 1 accountabilities.
