Job summary

Baptist Health Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform data entry, filling, dispensing, packaging, and delivery setup for specialty prescriptions. You will support third-party prior authorization requests and related services to manage high-cost medications while improving efficiency for patients and clinic staff.

You will assist Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacists in intake screening, coverage review, and outreach to patients for adherence.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy Technician permit.
• PTCB CPhT certification; CPhT-Adv preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in retail, specialty, or inpatient pharmacy.
• Effective communication and strong organization.
• Ability to plan daily activities with minimal supervision.
• Proficient computer skills and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Data entry, filling, dispensing, packaging, and delivery setup for specialty prescriptions.
• Assist with third-party prior authorization requests and related tasks.
• Benefits investigation and third-party billing support.
• Assist Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacists in clinics and specialty pharmacy.
• Review new patients at intake and prescription coverage; patient outreach for adherence.
• Inventory management and collaboration with 340B program.
