Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help navigate the payer environment. You will implement marketing strategies and promote Amgen products under the District Manager’s guidance.

The role requires building relationships, delivering branded messages, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, while upholding Amgen values and ethical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with sales experience or clinical experience in healthcare/science field that is not sales related.
• Associate degree and 4 years of Sales experience or
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits.
• Lead as a sales leader to achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Offer feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
