Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help navigate the payer environment. This role is the primary customer contact and will implement marketing strategy and promote products led by the District Manager.

The position covers Oakland, Stockton, Fremont, Hayward, and Sunnyvale, with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associate degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals
• Drive territory sales by delivering branded messages and promoting programs
• Develop relationships to manage accounts, tailor discussions to customer needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn
