Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to be the primary contact for medical professionals, communicating clinical benefits and guiding them through the payer environment. The role includes implementing marketing strategy, promoting Amgen products, and achieving sales targets across designated territories.

The position requires strong qualifications in sales and healthcare knowledge, with opportunities for remote or hybrid work where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Qualification: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales or clinical healthcare experience; or Associate degree with 6 years of sales/clinical experience; or High school diploma with 8 years of sales/clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages and conducting educational programs.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Demonstrate passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values.
