Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, share clinical knowledge, and navigate payer environments. You will implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products across designated territories in the U.S.

The role requires building relationships, delivering sales programs, and achieving targets while upholding Amgen values. Flexible work arrangements include remote or hybrid options where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales/clinical healthcare experience OR equivalent combinations as listed.
• Preferred: background in pharmaceutical/biotech sales and knowledge of oncolog,y cardiology or related therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Promote Amgen products and implement marketing strategy under the District Manager.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve sales targets.
• Develop and manage territory plans, analyze territory performance, and optimize reimbursement discussions.
