Job summary

Paratek Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Specialty Sales Representative to join the Commercial - Sales team. The role targets primary care physicians and podiatrists, with dermatologists as a secondary focus, to advance product usage and grow territory performance.

Responsibilities include engaging prescribers, delivering clinical messages, and maintaining compliant reporting. Travel is required; CRM proficiency and strong presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• 2–4 years of pharmaceutical selling experience.
• Experience calling on Infectious Disease, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Podiatry, Primary Care and other specialties.
• Ability to understand disease states, patient profiles and treatment pathways.
• Strong presentation, organization and communication skills.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage territory data.

Responsibilities

• Engage target prescribers within assigned geographical territory.
• Deliver clinically focused sales messages to introduce and grow business.
• Promote and educate targeted physicians/HCPs on company products.
• Report sales calls, territory expenses and written reports to management.
• Attend teleconferences, national/regional meetings and trainings.
• Represent Paratek at national/local conventions when requested.
• Utilize available sales data to optimize promotional budget funds.
• Distribute samples and record sample transactions per policy.
