Job summary

Paratek Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Specialty Sales Representative for Indianapolis South, IN. You will engage prescribers, deliver clinical sales messages, and execute strategies to grow product usage while meeting territorial goals.

You will collaborate with the Regional Business Director and team, maintain relationships with physicians and staff, and report activities and expenses accurately. Travel to fulfill duties and participate in trainings is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience, required.
• Minimum 2-4 years of pharmaceutical selling or relevant medical sales experience, required.
• Experience executing total office calls in primary care or specialty setting, required.
• Experience calling on Infectious Disease, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Podiatry, Primary Care and other specialties strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand disease states, patient profiles, and treatment pathways to articulate complex scientific information.

Responsibilities

• Engage target prescribers within assigned geographical territory.
• Deliver clinically focused sales messages to introduce, launch, grow business to meet sales goals.
• Execute on tactical strategies to drive territory, regional and company sales.
• Meet Call Plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to company policies.
• Promote and educate targeted physicians on use of company products through meetings and approved programs.
• Collaborate with Regional Business Director and team to achieve sales objectives.
• Communicate effectively with customers using selling, listening and negotiation skills.
• Sell across multiple channels including virtual and face-to-face communications.
• Maintain positive relationships with customer contacts including HCP staff.
• Submit accurate sales call activities and territory expenses on time.
• Complete required data entry per instructions.
• Maintain knowledge of product and training completion.
• Attend national/regional meetings and training sessions.
