Job summary

Paratek Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Specialty Sales Representative to join our National Salesforce. You will target primary care physicians and podiatrists, with dermatologists as a secondary focus, in Indianapolis South.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience, required.
• 2–4 years of pharmaceutical selling or relevant medical sales experience.
• Experience executing total office calls in primary care or specialty setting.
• Experience calling on Infectious Disease, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Podiatry, Primary Care and other specialties preferred.
• Ability to articulate complex scientific information and present it clearly.

Responsibilities

• Engage target prescribers within assigned territory.
• Deliver clinically focused sales messages to introduce, launch, and grow business to meet sales goals.
• Execute tactical strategies to drive sales within the geographic territory.
• Meet Call Plan expectations and achieve territory and product sales goals.
• Promote and educate physicians/HCPs on product use through meetings and programs.
• Work with regional team to achieve sales objectives.
• Communicate effectively with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills.
• Maintain knowledge of products and related therapeutic information; complete training.
