Nippon Sanso Matheson, Inc. seeks a Specialty Gas Sales Manager for the Houston, TX area to grow specialty gas and equipment sales across multiple states.
You will lead SGS sales efforts, convert goals into actionable plans, and drive market share using the MSM and MSS frameworks. The role requires 4–6 years in technical sales within life sciences, chemistry, or related fields, and involves significant cross-functional collaboration, customer profiling, pricing, and reporting.
Specialty Gas Sales Manager Salary Range $130,000 to $150,000
Can reside in either the Houston, TX or Dallas, TX Area
Representing a core business unit for Matheson the SGSMis responsible for increasing Matheson’s specialty gas and equipment salesand market share within a multi-state geography by managing Specialty GasSpecialties (SGS) activities through the sales process.
The SGSM will increasesales and market share through a sales team of SGS located throughout theassigned geography. Translating the team’s business goals andobjectives into individual actionable plans for each SGS; the SGSM will oversee all phases of the sales process through the utilization of theMatheson Sales Model (MSM), Matheson Selling Skills (MSS), sales reportingand direct customer interaction. Working independently and through theSGS team the SGSM will drive Matheson’s specialty gas sales growth.

4-6 years' Experience in sales or marketing within the life science, bioscience, pharmaceutical, chemical, semiconductor or similar technical sales position selling hazardousmaterials, chemicals, equipment, process control devices or processanalyzers. A working knowledge or experience from selling specialty,medical and industrial gases is preferred. Preferred
